alright i just got my 1980 Chrysler 75 hp 757h9h (i think that's the number i could be off) to run it starts up right away after a little choking but it wont run in neutral. is there a way to adjust the idle and high speed gas flows? i already replaced the carb kits but i didn't know if there is supposed to be some sort of carburetor inside the fuel bulb where the carb float is.. .when i think carburetor i think cylindrical corrugated mesh item like thingy? i can run it with the throttle up in neutral but when i back down to engage the prop it shuts off but will start right up again no problem. i'm at a loss on what to check now.
Thanks!
ps. the fuel bulb stays fairly hard when i run it and the fuel is a 32:1 mixture with some carb cleaner. and there is no overheating but i did get a shock from touching the head gasket with a wet finger (tested to see if it was overheating) but i was touching a metal part on the boat would that affect it? i changed the cd module and everything is grounded... i think...
