Awesome sight!!! I have a 1980 Volvo Penta. The sea pump is shot....I have been told that I can bypass the sea pump, as the water pump on top does the same thing. The engine does not have a radiator system (fresh water system?)...thanks you in advance for your help

I think he has it backwards, your engine must have the sea water pump. The other pump is known as a circulation pump, and in the early years, volvo didn't use the circ pump, and just used the sea water pump as a way to circulate water thru the engine.

Also, on the rankings under the name is forum rank, has nothing to do with military. Notice you are a cadet?
