1981 40 hp mercury

can anyone tell me the optimal rpm range for a 40hp mercury at wot.........love the help ive gotten so far ...thanks all

It I somewhat dependent upon the year of the motor, however, 4500-5500 is a reasonable range. Prop her for 5200 and you should be fine.
