1981 90hp johnson motor/ eletrical problem with tilt &trim

Hi,
can anyone help ,I had my boat out last weekend ,two day later I tryed to move the tilt and trim up or down and I got no sound or movement of any kind .I ran a power tester aronund most of the power conectors and seem to have power everywhere but the swithes .Im getting power at the relays on the red wire only ,on both side .not sure where to go from here .I down loaded a wire diagram from this site but it not the same as what I have , nut pretty close so I followed it and everthing seem to check out .So I must be missing something .

can anyone help

it`s been a long time with old trim units but if you have power on the red wires to the relays which is correct and don`t have to the switches the coil of the relays wont energize and the motor will not run.start with basics out of a manual or print .always check the blacks for a good ground DC will flow from neg to positive hope this helps .THE RELAYS ARE ACUALLY SOLONOIDS THAT PULL IN BY CONTROL WIRES FROM YOU TRIM HANDLE, good luck youll find that it`s usually something stupid mark
