1982 150hp: How do you get the cowling off?

I feel like an idiot....<br /><br />I can't figure out how to get the cowling off. I know the front panel conceals the latches for the cowling around the engine, but I can't figure out how to get the front panel off. <br /><br />Any thoughts? My other merc had a knob that I had to turn.

If its a V6, there are little prongs to push in along the bottom of the front panel. You can see them if you look hard enough.
