1982/1983 90 hp evinrude Adding tilt/trim

I have a 1982 or 1983 90 hp Evinrude outboard that does not have tilt or trim. I know there are aftermarket items to help me such as the CMC pt-130 but I have an issue spending that kind of money on a boat (1977 Grady White spirit) and motor that probably isn?t worth the price of the unit. My question is this, since my motor originally did not come with tilt/trim, is it possible to buy the set up from another motor and put it on my motor? If it is, is it worth the trouble? The motor runs great and best I can tell has no mechanical issues.

Use Smart Tabs if there is a issue of getting your boat to plane....

it's not an issue of planing, i just fish in shallow water and tilt would make a big diff. but i think i am gonna have to pay up. thanks for the help though.
