1982 4.5 Merc. flywheel

is there a secret about pulling the flywheel on my Merc. 4.5 single cyl.? I have the 3 bolt puller on it but I am afraid to put much more force on it.

why are you pulling the fly wheel?

I need the flywheel off so I can replace a wire which is under it.

OK , finally got the flywheel off with the aid of my pneumatic tool, and yes, I did replace the wire and now it is purring like a kitten.
