1982 Chrysler 9.9 Outboard Assistance Needed

I need some help with my outboard.<br /><br />It's an 1982 Chrysler Outboard 9.9HP 92H2J<br /><br />1. The starter rope broke. How do I replace it?<br />2. What spark plugs should I use and what should the gap be set to?<br /><br />Thank you!<br />Ken

I have a factory service/repair manual (your cost $15.00) and parts catalog (your cost $6.00) for your engine. Both are in excellent condition. We have sold out of the rope and spark plugs but you can obtain from your local Force dealer. We closed our dealership after 31 years and still have many parts in stock that we are selling for 1/2 the mfg. suggested list price, or less. <br />Email: linda@nu-z.net
