1982 Cobalt merc 260 starter removal

Hey guys. I have determined through test light tests that the starter is shot on my 1982 merc 260. I have tried to search the forums to find someone that has posted about removal of the starter. I hate to beat a dead horse if it is out there and I can't find it. Anyhow, I can't figure out how the starter comes off, which for me makes me feel dumb bc I am very mechanically inclined. Anyone have pictures of where the bolts are to remove it that is specific to my engine? I would really appreciate the help.

Yea, I saw that picture. It would be easier if I knew all the model years that were the same. I appreciate it.

Every GM motor from day 1 uses those same 2 bolts. inline 4`s, 6`s,V6`s,V 8`s .The 1 variation is straight across pattern and the off-set pattern.
