1982 Johnson 2hp J2RCNE

Hello everyone-- Couple questions regarding a Johnson J2RCNE. I am working on one that has sat for quite a while in a relative's basement. It's in excellent condition, but getting ready for use this summer (replacing impeller, cleaning carburetor, etc) and cannot find a manual or much information. current issues are:

1 - Gear oil - is 75w-90 Amsoil ok, and how much? No top fill/vent screw from what I have seen.

2 - Seems very finicky with idle trim, which is why I was going to take apart the carb and clean. Won't idle off choke when warmed up unless set all the way rich. Saw an old post regarding setting trim, but seems odd it would be this far off? Or is it not...

Pull the flywheel and inspect the magneto.----The coil is likely cracked.----Clean and set the breaker points.-----Position the oil drain hole to be at the top ( motor laying down ) add oil till case is full.---Takes 2 ounces or so.
