Hi i show a short video on my engine.
Basically added a new water pump added a shift o ring.
New head gasket and the cylinder looked perfect did not see any wear, may not be perfect
compression but it will do 30 +mph with 3 people.
This video just how my engine may be modified a little different.
Yes the average DIV repair if got the time.
There where some simple things i did not make a video on like fuel filter the previous
owner used on the engine pump screen was dirty and the old gas hoses where not connect good had to add a few hose clamps and my fuel line i use has a pretty new fuel filter in it. It was a little tricky. Added new spark plugs and wires. Did a lot of common things that where just obvious and yes compressions was only about 120 psi each cylinder . But engine did a least 30+ MPH. Hey got good gears added a little Lucas oil stabilizer to gear oil now sure but i did that because seemed like a little slow leak will see if that helps any. Yes just common things like correct power pack wires going to the correct coils and correct spark wires going to correct plugs.
Keep them engines running! Compression and wore cylinder can be a issue and could be a waste of money trying to fix with a low compression engine.
