Why is the mechanical fuel pump look like it is mounted up side down . (fuel filter bowl on top) I know it right the engine ran fine for 4 months before the pump gave up. It just appears to be mounted in this uncommon position compared to most mechanical f/p i'v seen and installed years ago on automobile engines.
Question 2
New F/P comes with three thin flange gaskets , do i use just 1 gasket. are the other two gaskets used for spacing to lower f/p pressure if its too high.
