1982 mercuiser

I have a 1982 mercuiser with a in 4 with a pre alpha out-drive how hard is it to change the inpropeller? I also found on inspection that the rubber bellow that sends the exhaust down though the propeller has a crack is it important to fix now or can int wait?

When you follow the maintenance manual changing the impeller isn't that hard. The exhaust bellows have been superseded with an exhaust tube, mounts only on the transom side, no clamp on the sterndrive side of the exhaust bellows. An inspection of the universal joints, joint bellows and shift cable may be in order.
