1983 50hp johnson needs power head

I was hoping someone could help me locate a used power head
for my old johnson 50hp twin. I've been looking for used motors
but all I can find are early 70's motors and I don't know if the
powerheads will work? Also could I use other twins like 40, 48, or
60 hp powerheads. thanks. So far i'v been searching AL and surrounding
states.

I have had good luck with Tims outboards. They are a salvage yard for boat engines. 218-682-2331
