I have a 70 hp mercury that cuts out at high speed<br /> and run fine at low speeds.i had the clyinders check and i have good compression. Can anyone help me?
Could be a few things...Check spark and compression.<br /><br />Fuel pump could be weak.<br /><br />Stator could be dropping out.<br /><br />Carbs could be flooding.<br /><br />TMD
I had the same problem with my motor and it was the carbs sticking. Now I am having a problem at low RPM and acceleration. The motor runs rough in idle or neutral. The only way I can accelerate is by pumping the bulb.
