1983 80 hp Merc,
have been working on cleaning up this neglected motor with a carb rebuild, fuel pump rebuild, water pump kit, new fuel lines, etc. Waiting on a tach to do a link and sync.
The carb plate, carb plate seal, and air silencer cover seal are missing on this motor. Was wondering what you guys thought about running this motor without these parts. Will this situation affect the motors performance?
