1983 90hp runs for while then wont pick up fuel

boat starts and runs fine full power and then it stalls out no fuel being picked up. bulb is hard after 15 minutes or so boat starts and runs fine for a while till it happens again thanks i need help

You've got some type of fuel restriction. After running for a minute or so, the bulb should get soft-but not collapse. Try another fuel hose bulb. Could be a defective ball valve in the hose bulb. If possible, make sure the arrow of the bulb is pointing upward, instead of laying upside down in the bilge or the splashwell.
