Just bought an old 1983 bass tracker. Was doing some maintenance and realized my bilge pump, trolling motor, and live well didn't work. I was attempting to check the fuses and they all got mixed up. Does anyone have a diagram or any idea which fuses go where?

Are you asking what "size" fuses go to each device?

Or don't you know which fuse on the block goes where?

Need more info. Are these fuses inline individual or in a fuse block?

There is a fuse panel under the steering column. It contains 6 fuses that go to the bilge pump, trolling motor, live well, etc. All the fuses are different amps. and I don't know which fuse go to what mechanism now.

Trolling motors do not have a fuse in the fuse block. They normally have a fuse or circuit breaker in-line near the battery.. So what fuse sizes do you have? Also, just because there are six fuses does not mean there are six devices. Extra fuses may be used for accessories your boat doesn't have.

Those are some pretty good size fuses? You are going to have to look at each device and see if you can find an amp rating on any of them. Even if you can get manf. names and/or serial numbers would help, but with a boat that old that might be impossible.

You can try to look up similar devices online and get the specs off those similar devices and go by that..

If you know how to use a muti meter you can connect each device direct to the battery and measure the amp draw while it is running.

Never saw a 32 amp fuse. Next -- none of the three devices you mention can use a 3A fuse without it blowing on start-up. As I mentioned, the trolling motor should not be wired through the fuse panel. It should have a separate fuse in the hot lead close to the battery. If the troller is 30# thrust or greater it can draw as much as 42 amps so again, none of those fuses would handle that current. Although the 20 and 30 amp fuses will hold up for the livewell and bilge pump, they are very likely too big for the wires feeding those devices. That means the wires would smoke before the fuse blew. You really need to determine what is on each circuit. 10A fuses max on 16 gauge circuits, 15 amp on 14 gauge and 20 amps on 12 gauge.
