This 1983 Johnson 140hp v4 outboard motor has been sitting for 11yrs. Would it be worth getting it check out and worked on? The last time used ran for a while went back to put boat up and would not start has been setting since.
Absolutely! Clean the carbs, clean the fuel lines, change lower unit oil, INSTALL a NEW impellar (regardless of condition), Check compression, check for spark. Go for it.<br /><br />Bob
