1983 OMC 5.7, I need help with the trim and tilt wires.

I've been rewiring the dash because the previous owner had splices and loose ends everywhere.

I've gotten it pretty much done except for these wires. The 5 wire ribbon comes from the throttle controller with tilt buttons on it. The green and blue with orange stripes go back to the solenoids that control the tilt. I believe the purple is ignition and needs to be attached to the key ignition post. The green and blue solid color wires go to the back of the boat.

There is also a pair of yellow wires attached to the throttle controller that are spliced together with a "lamp" style pair of wires outside of the picture.

I need to know what cables go to the gauges and what cables control the soleScreenshot_20221102-042007_Photos.jpgnoids.

In the OMC wiring harness the tilt n trim works off of the battery, not the ignition, and the pair of yellow wires may be for the neutral safety switch, so the power to the start circuit (yellow/red wire) won't travel to the starter unless the gear shift is in neutral.

Ok. That makes sense. I don't think the pair of yellow wires were hooked up anywhere, any idea where they would go?

yellow should have a red stripe if OMC followed the proper wiring color scheme

Well. Appreciate the help. I've googled the color codes for that 5 wire harness and couldn't find anything. Same with the gauge wires.
