1983 Suzuki no spark

Hey guys, I havnt been having any luck with posting about this motor so I'm going to try to narrow it down a little bit. I have a 1983 suzuki dt 30 and it isn't getting spark. It ran all last year even after the previous owner disabled the kill switch. But there is a blue wire coming out of the CDI area with nothing connected to the other end? I'm not sure how to go about re wiring the kill switch or if somthing els could be causing no spark?

Thanks for your reply! turns out I'm an idiot and was looking past the kill switch key and it wasn't fully pushing in on the switch which wasn't allowing any spark. Motor is up and running!
