Hi Guys.
Been out of circulation for about a year fixing up the lake house and building a new pier and floater.
Filled in any spare time rebuilding this Johnson.
Can anyone recommend a prop pitch. Looks like about 14 inch diameter.
Thanks.

Sure, somewhere from 12" to 26" pitch.
Minor details like what kind of boat, goes a long way for making a guestimate

Agreed--Props attach to the motor but they " fit " the boat and what you do with the boat !

Ok. I know not what boat but I will cater for a 17ft Bass boat. This is most common around here. Would 19 pitch do it or would you recommend something else.
Thanks.
Jim.

Well for most 17 ft boats I would say 19 or 21. but... there are lots of different hull designs. Engine height will make a difference in prop choice. AL or SS? Until you know what boat you are using....

Hold off ordering until you know what you are putting the motor on, it might just save you some money
