1984 150 johnson vro pump, will 5007422 work??

I want to know if the 5007422 will work in place of the 5007423, with out any modification to the mounting plate?? they look real similar. My friend premixes so we wanted to go with the non-vro pump if possible and its about $20 cheaper.

Yep just plug the oil line from tank or remove it all together. Below is link to best price on that pump will save you about $80.

thanks Faz, oil tank gone long ago, VRO has been plugged. Just wanted to get a pump without VRO just because of the ole less is more rule. thanks again.
