1984 3.8 OMC carb

I am trying to find a 2 barrel carb for a 1984 3.8 OMC 5 cylinder motor. Does anybody have any ideas where to find one, or another 2 barrel carb that might work. Any suggestions and part numbers are appreciated.<br />Thanks

the part # was 983688 but was obsoleted in 1997...try Seaway Marine at : 1-800-332-0803 or Wholesale Marine at: 1-661-251-4040...one of them may be able to help-they have quite a bit of obsolete OMC parts

The original is a Rochester. Holley makes some 2-barrel Marine carbs you might consider, 500cfm would be about right. Look for part #0-80402-1. Probably pretty expensive, though. You'd also have to do some work to get the linkage to mate up.<br /><br />Tom
