1984 302 Ford Inboard motor

where is the timing chain/gears located in a 1984 302 ford inboard motor. Does one have to pull the motor to access timing gears?

They are on the front of the engine behind the waterpump and the timing cover. as far as pulling the moter, just depends on the boat. Whats wrong with them? You probably want to get a manual, study it a while, before you attempt to replace them. Installing them wrong can lead to big bucks.
