Here's a new one. After reading hundreds of posts and using the Seloc manual, I am still searching for a solution. Any experise would be appreciated.
Shortly after bringing up the engine to 3000 rpms, the revs are reduced to 2000 rpms. I suspect that the rev limiter is kicking in. However, there is no audible alarm when this occurs.
I have determined the following so far:
1. The oil level sensor with the three leds works properly. When the sensor reads the oil low, the red light goes on and the buzzer sounds. This means at least that the buzzer works for the oil.
2. A pot test indicates that the temperature switch closes properly at about 190 degrees.
3. The temperature gauge reads on the lower end of the scale.
4. There is good flow through the system as indicated by water coming out of the telltale and the thermostat passage.
5. The water pump impeller is in perfect shape.
6. The tilt sender with the four wires is not connected to anything.
Any ideas.
