I am currently in love with closed bow boats, but I found this Capri for a very good price. Is there any way to make it a closed bow? Would I be able to just make a cover for the bow seating area? I would use the front area for storage.
Thanks,

Welcome aboard.

Can you? Sure. Have a look at THIS. Is it worth the time, money and energy?

The Orion in that thread turned out really slick lookin', and I think it's a neat project. But unless you'd be happy with just a fitted bow cover, then I'd keep lookin'. Lots of boats will start going up for sale with the season ending.

Nice reference link. Had not seen that one.

Capri's can look nice but of that vintage can be rotten to the core. Check it out twice and then once again before you decide to hook it to the hitch.

Side note - When ever I see Capri, I think of a car my sister had. A Mercury Capri, she called the Crappy, and boy was it ever.
