hi all, been away for a while but now back boating again.
Just bought a small 4 meter RIB with a 1984 40hp rude, came with all receipts since new, original handbook etc, this is where i get confused, as the book states that the engine should be run on a pre mix tank of 100:1 ?? Were they designed to run on 100:1 , it furthers mentions that a richer ratio leads to glazing / shortened piston life / plugs etc and a load of other things, so the question is, can i run it at 100:1 safely
