I have 2 Michigan Wheel Vortex Props with the interchangeable Hub system. This weekend at slow speed I hit a rock taking a chunk out of one of the blades. So today I bought an OEM Evinrude/Johnson BRP Aluminum prop. The guy at the Boat Dealer said I could just put it on useing the Prop Nut. But looking at an Overtons catalog They talk about a Thrust Washer. I Don't think My Mich Wheel Prop had one of these. I put it on tonight with just the Prop Nut. Do I need some type of washer too????? Thanks Again

ps What looks like the Thrust washer off of my Michigan Wheel vortex is threaded on one side and came off infront of the prop it seems like everyone is saying the Thrust washer goes behind or under or on first off last. Some one please help me straighten this out. Can I use this same part from the Michigan Wheel vortex prop???

The hub kit that comes with the MWC prop is used for just that hub. to go back to OMC/BRP props, you must use the original thrust washer-IN FRONT of prop_then an aft washer/spacer then nut and pin.
