So I took the boat out last weekend, and it ran good. Yesterday, I tried to start just to let it warm up for the month and it wouldn't start. I pulled on the throttle looking into the carb and didn't see any fuel squirting in. I know its got fuel because it put 20 gallons and was out only about 15 minutes of run time in the water at 12 to 1500 rpm. Gas gauge reads about half tank. I made sure the boat was level so gas would be level in the tank. The motor turns and turns but wont start. How can I troubleshoot where the problem is? Worth mentioning that carb was rebuilt by a reputable carb shop about a week ago. Also, battery is good and full charge, have maintainer hooked up. Thanks in advance.
Les.

Seems you know the answer:
One day everything is fine....

Next day shop rebuilds carb.....

Now carb doesn't work....

No, that's not what I meant. Boat ran fine after rebuild, then a few days later it does not start. No fuel coming to the carb at all.

I will check fuel water separator. Not sure how to check the anti siphon valve, or the fuel pump. Any pointers?

You need to carefully see if fuel flow is reaching the carburetor during engine cranking. The fuel line to/at the carb could be disconnected. From there a fuel pressure gauge could be connected to see what the actual PSI is........Or lots of rags placed under the fuel line to watch fuel flow come out for a quick second of engine cranking only after either turning off the Lanyard engine safety kill switch or if you don't have the lanyard switch, disconnect the purple wires at the + side of the ignition coil to help prevent any possible sparks from happening with an open fuel line flowing.

Remove fuel line at carb. Stick end in clear soda bottle and crank. Should see fuel.

Did this today when i got home. Disconnected hose to carb, placed in bottle and taped it secure. Cranked and no gas whatsoever came into the bottle, nothing. Other than a bad fuel pump, how can i check the anti siphon valve? Also, I checked into the tank and there's plenty fuel left. Will also check fuel water separator. next.

I had a problem with the fuel pick up in my boat once. wasted $160 on a fuel pump that did not fix the problem.

Similar issue is happening to me.
Did you get it fixed?
Bad fuel pump?
Anti-siphon valve?
