I am getting my motor ready for a trip tomorrow and this is the first time its been out for a while. Engine started right up but I noticed there was no water from the pee hole. I did have a clog and cleaned out the line but still no water. My first question is do the thermostats have to open before the water flows down the lines and out the pee hole?
My other question is does the water flow in the direction of the red arrows in the photo or is water supposed to come out the the block at the green arrow (with the hose off there was no flow)? My water pressure was good at idle and my cylinder head temp was good also. It took a little while but water did start coming out the pee hole so is this normal or something acting up?
