Presently I have a re-machined drive shaft in my 140 Johnson but I'm affraid it may not last. I can get two 120hp Johnson long shafts and cannibalize each of the shafts and make one extra long shaft. Can somebody tell me the total length of the extra long shaft measuring from the threaded end of the shaft to the spline end? I would like to machine the altered shafts without removing the one piece shaft just to get a dimension. Its important to do this work before hand. Thanks
