Have been running a 1985 Mariner 25hp outboard pretty regularly. Sometimes at full throttle it bogs down. When I back off a little it runs fine. Yesterday it was running fine but you could here it sort of hestitate, not continue at the same rpm. I have repaird the spark plug wires with the new connector and boot assemblies because I was getting a shock try to take off the cowling while it was running at the catch at the back. Is this a fuel problem, carb, should I try a different brand of spark plug?
