1985 25 XD Bottom Cowl Removal

I need to remove the bottom cowl on the port side. Can someone tell me how to do this-where the screws/bolts are located? My Seloc manual is very unclear on this. Thanks for any and all help!

Doesn't the whole back piece just come off with 4 screws from below, and you slide it down the driveshaft housing a bit to get it off, then the base come apart in two halves?

I think what you want to do is remove the rear locking latch in the back and the latch catch in the front on the lower cowling.

Both metal latches are on the inside of the lower cowl front and back and span the split halves.

After you get these two metal latches off, the two halves just pull off.

Locating pins help keep it aligned.

(You also have to disconnect the fuel connector to get the port side all of the way off)
