Went out on the lake the other day and while towing in another boat our engine had a change in sound and loss of power. We ended up getting towed in ourselves at that point.
Now tonight I was able to look into it. Compression was good on all cylinders. I put new plugs in and checked for spark and realized I have a spark issue. My middle coil is providing spark but the top and bottom coils have no spark at all. I hooked each coil to the wire that was connected to the middle coil and each coil is working from that wire but not its original wire so I know at least the coils are good.
At this point I am lost and not sure what to test or try from here. Any help is appreciated.
