1985, 9.9 Johnson carb rebuild

Rebuilding the carb on my J10RLCOM and everything went fine except for one part in the rebuild kit(OMC) I didn't see on disassembly.Included in a smaller bag with the core plugs and the needle valve retainer is a small opaque plastic part...looks something like a nozzle???Where does that puppy go?

The part is called a bearing, on some carb's it goes to the bottom of the slow speed needle valve passage. Your carb does'nt use it.

sometimes rebuild kits contain extra parts that will fit other carbs, this way they need only have one part number for perhaps many different applications, the cost is so minimal,it saves time looking up part numbers, assembling perticular kits
