1985 dt 65

I accidently posted this in the wrong forum category earlier- apologies.

I have 85 dt 65, new lower end, good spark, good compression, good fuel, rebuild carbs. my issue is the motor starts, runs for 1-2 mins then shuts off-immediatly starts back up runs for 1-2 mins then dies. I'm at a loss, coil seems to be fine, is it the cdi? suggestions? I'm losing my mind over this..any help would be appreciated.

If you haven't already done so, I would replace the fuel pump diaphram. What were your compression numbers?
