1985 Evinrude Oil

We recently got a boat with a 1985 e115tlco outboard motor, it is a 4 cylinder, I need to know what oil we should be using and the correct ratio to use for an older motor

Since 1964 it has been 50:1 for Evinrude motors.-----Use the best oil recommended by your local boat shop.

Isn't this a VRO engine ? Or has it been "converted" to, or are you planning to, use premixed fuel ?

Consider a "Premium Plus" oil with a spec which exceeds the basic TC-W3 spec for a motor of this power.

Similarly a "high performance" gear lubricant
