1985 force 125 stator

Will the stator cause any performance issues , at 4000 rpms I'm only. Charging at 12.7 volts , and. Could only get to 4600 rpms at wot, earlier in the week I was charvi g at 14.8 volts and my wot was 5100 rpms , I changed the rectifire but no change , any ideas , compression is good and spark is good , fuel is good also , 89 octane

There are tests at outboardignition.com. Go under force and then stator. Pick the PDF for the correct year. It will tell you how to measure the different wires
