Gents,

First time boat owner here. Took my boat out and had a little trouble starting. Took about an hour, actually. Was turning over, but I couldn't keep it running. After it finally came to life, I took it on a cruise 20mph. After about 5 minutes, it shut down. After checking over and over again, I realized the fuel line seperated from the fuel tank. Of course, this was after trying repeatedly to start it. I'm thinking maybe I have air in the line now. I'm just about due for a service too, but gotta do one at a time. Need to get it running, then go get serviced. Any ideas?

Gents,

I realized the fuel line seperated from the fuel tank. Of course, this was after trying repeatedly to start it. I'm thinking maybe I have air in the line now.

After reattaching the fuel line, I believe priming it with the bulb should take care of any air in the line. Hopefully that's all that is keeping it from starting again. Try that and let us know if it starts up. New boat owner here so my answer may be just a little TOO elementary so I apologize in advance! :p
