I recently bought this motor from a Johnson dealer. It will idle and start only with the fast idle about half way up. It starts great with the fast idle up but when I try and put it in gear it dies. They told me to turn the idle up on it. I turned the idle screw all the way and it made no difference. I move the fast idle arm up and then the arms move. I told them that cables werent on correctly. But they don't agree. How would I go about fixing this. Btw compression is as follows 1.112 2. 103 3. 112 4. 103. They said these were acceptable but a little low.
