Hello All - I've picked up my new carb rebuild kit from the marina. Armed with a can of carb cleaner and some tools I think I can get it off. Unfortunately I was shipped the wrong manual ... can someone let me know what comes off first ? So I can get to the carb. Looks like the starter has to come off too ?

Please advise,

M

Yep, starter, all the hoses(mark where they go an take a picture) probably the choke solenoid. and wire. You have to be able to get to the two nuts attaching the carb to the intake and then be able to pull it straight out.Unclip the advance wire on the top too.

You got ~ a gallon of carb cleaner you soak the carb in, right? The spray stuff is useless, you need to soak the carb, the blow dry with compressed air to clean it properly.
