1985 johnson 40 seahorse/ wiring diagrahm

Can someone tell me where I can find a wiring diagrahm of this motor.With out having a manual....Is there one available online? ..I looked at the motor today, trying to trouble shoot it and found a wire disconnected, but I can't find where it is supposed to go...Anyones help is better than no-ones help

Find where the wire comes from and then repost, you might get a better response. i.e. the orange wire from the powerpack for example.

If your not sure what part it is locate the part number and enter it into a search at an online parts store, they'll usually tell what the part is.
