Gentlemen, I have a J50BELCD w/a Cutting out problem that has progressed to a Bogging down problem. The motor originally would get on plane fine then would sharply cut out. This problem would persist for the first 20-30 minutes then dissapear. I figured that it was sucking air from somewhere and replaced 12ga portable Gas tank(vented),Hose,bulb,and connectors. Now the problem has changed to... when I take off it runns fine for 5min then will bog down while running on plane at WOT. it acts like I throttled back. If I pull back to neutral it will keep running fine. once again this only last about 1/2 hr or so into the trip. then will run fine but everyonce in a while Hiccup at WOT. I'm not sure that these problems are indicative of losing fire/ or Fuel, the fuel screen on the pump is discolored on one edge. could it be a problem? I also have checked all fuel line connections on the motor for cracks/leaks. Coil wires and electrcal connections look fine. The carbs were recently rebuilt before I bought it and didn't fix the problem. (it had this problem when I purchased the boat) (now you guys kill me for writing a book) Any help would be appreciated
