Guys, does this motor have any value for parts? The VRO Pump failed and blew a cylinder. The lower unit is good the power tilt, I have the controls? Other than the one cylinder there a numerous of good parts available. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid of this for some money?

Buck,

Just so you know for the future, the VRO did not cause just one cylinder to go. If it was the VRO, they all would have gone....It is not selective...

It was more than likely carb neglect and a resulting lean condition that caused the cylinder to go south.

Agree with Rick and Upinsmoke. VRO is NOT cylinder selective.

Yes, it has value. Especially the lower unit.
