I need some help. I have an old 1985 Fisher Aluminum boat. It has a 1985 Johnson 30HP motor on the back, and a Johnson branded electric trolling motor on the front. We have had the boat for a number of years, but other people have been using it (hence the problems). I put the trolling motor down to use it the other day and the alignment was all wrong. When the foot pedal was in the middle position (nearly parallel to the deck, which is normally straight ahead), the motor was actually moving the boat backwards! It is 180 degrees out of the way it is supposed to be. I have no idea how this could have happened, and less about how to fix it. I would really appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanks!!!
