I have a 1985 Merc/Cruiser Ford 140 that overheated and needed the water pump changed in the stern drive. I'm having problems re-installing the stern drive...once the engine died when the throttle was placed in neutral. Next installation attempt made my throttle only go into forward gear and I couldn't disengage the propeller drive. Can anyone please tell me what the trick is to re-installing the stern drive on this merc/cruiser.<br /> Thanks
