1985 murcury 60hp tilt trim

i got a trim and tilt ? i got this engine and trim together,trim works fine looks to be no leaks in lines or box or cylinders,,theres no fluid coming out any where,,tilt goes up and down just fine,,when up all the way in driveway ,it goes down very very slow,,is there a leak some where,,or is this normal
