1985 omc factory service manual

Alright still looking for a manual. I have a 1985 omc 3.0 with the attached outdrive. Still dont know what outdrive i have but mabye yall can let me know.. I found a manual on ebay. what you have there is an 800 stringer drive ... and that manual is only about 30 pages in which doesnt cover very much info ... what you would be looking for is a large repair manual .. and would set you back about 125.00 bucks or more ..

Ayuh,...

I thought the 400 Stringer drives were used on the 3.0ls,+ the 800 Stringer drives were used on the V8 motors,..??..??

yeah your right bond-o . for some reason when i was looking at the manual on ebay i was also looking at a 5.0 for a friends boat . my bad ...
