I am considering buying this boat. there is a small spot in the floor between the consoles that is somewhat weak. I think it would be ok for a while, as I will keep it garaged if i buy it, but it will eventually need a new floor. Any thoughts on what is involved in this project. i am also concerned about what may be rotten underneath the floor. i tried it out on the water and the boat seemed really solid overall. It's an aluminum hull, don't know how much wood is under the floor, if any? Also, the transom is very solid. Any thoughts? thanks, jdman

Since its aluminum, odds are that the floor stucture is also aluminum. The floor itself and the transom should be the only wood. You can gut the boat, remove the wood floor, put new wood in after sealing it really well, and be okay. Its not like me where I have an all fiberglass boat and I have had to gut all the wood stringers, floor and transom out, and will have to glass in all new wood. Should have found an aluminum boat.......
